T-Splines educational lab kits are for available exclusively for schools. Lab packs cost $999 and include 30 floating licenses. Lab packs for T-Splines v3 receive all service releases to v3 for free (i.e. 3.1, 3.2, etc.) Lab packs may be upgraded from T-Splines v2 to T-Splines v3 for $299. Lab kits require a license server, and the machines using the floating licenses must be able to see that server. The license server can be on the Internet or on your local network, and it can be running Linux, Windows, or Mac OS X. The license server may not be a virtual machine.
