Rhino Plugin testing is now open to anyone on the forums

A support and feedback forum for T-Splines users.

Rhino Plugin testing is now open to anyone on the forums

Postby Adam Helps » Tue Oct 24, 2006 3:14 pm

We've decided to open the Rhino Plugin Work-in-Progress testing to anyone who wishes to participate. To that end, we have combined the "Rhino Plugin" and "Rhino Plugin WIP" forums, and the "WIP" forum is now visible to everyone.

Thanks to all those who have given feedback so far and helped us reach this point.

To help test, please:
1. Get the latest Rhino 4 beta
2. Sign up for the forum. This is necessary to download the plugin.
3. Download the latest T-Splines plugin

Every couple weeks, we post an updated version of our plugin and will announce that in this forum. When you find bugs or wish to suggest features, please post your observations here, or via email.

Thank you!

With our updated webpage, you can now use your forum account to download the latest version of the plugin at http://www.tsplines.com/download_rhino/.

We'll keep posting the new download here in the forums as well.

There is a new build for the 11/15 version of Rhino.

New in the build:
Fixed bug in tsExtend, where it was pegged to exact. You can now choose simple or fitted extension.
New command tsMesh, which exposes the T-Splines mesher, which can sometimes produce T-Junction-aware meshes more quickly.
Fixed bug in tsExtrude along the normals, where normals were sometimes computed incorrectly.
New command SelTSplines for selecting all T-Splines in the scene.
Improved feature - selected grips now hilight adjacent edges
Improved tsNetworkSrf, our accidentally released command. The produced surface now fits to the curves, although not as well as could be hoped. Please see this topic for more details.

To download, please visit the downloads page:

As always, bug reports, suggestions, and comments are very welcome.
