This morning we were brainstorming on how to make the manual testing more engaging.
We've decided to try doing a weekly modeling challenge for the next month.
Here's how it will work: each week, we'll assign a number of people here at T-Splines, Inc. to the challenge. (We take pride that everyone here, from sales to admin to developers, knows how to use the product
- though this doesn't mean we're all talented!) We will then spend between 2-4 hours using T-Splines to model a specific object. (We'll be using the current internal build of the software to help uncover any bugs before releasing the software publicly.)Anyway, I thought it would be fun to share the results of our modeling efforts here on the forum. I'm not promising a bunch of amazing models (guaranteed that Juan's model will be a work of art, but the rest of us might be embarrassed with what we have to show). But hopefully this could be helpful to someone.
So, I'm taking requests - what should we model for our first weekly modeling challenge? We'll be doing this on Thursday afternoon, so we'll consider any requests that come in the next few days. Remember, please keep it rather simple, to something that could be done in 2-4 hours.
Of course, we'll also welcome anyone else wanting to participate in the challenge.
