Need Help with Modeling

Postby Sephirox » Tue Dec 20, 2016 5:46 pm

I am having issues trying to make a detail making use of T Splines. As you can see from the pictures I am trying to make that edge be straight, the issue is that however many edges I put it makes a dent in the surface on the whole, making it unusable.

Updated Version of the Model, still with no success as to how to make that wing detail work. I don't even know if my topology is good.

Made it work, somehow hahaha, but is there a way to get rid of the indentation that happens on the surface?

Hi Sephirox.

It seems that you have too much T-Points on bad areas.
Not sure the final shape you want to get but I changed a bit the topology to be more clean.
Check it out and let me know if this would work for you.

Thanks, I'll keep on working and adding stuff to it; I see the changes that you did and understood them, hopefully it helps me progressing into the rest of the model.
