Making smooth curvature when I have an excess of faces.

A support and feedback forum for Autodesk T-Splines Plug-in for Rhino users.

Making smooth curvature when I have an excess of faces.

Postby simonkage » Sun Aug 07, 2016 12:06 pm

skull.JPG

Im modeling this skull for a button.
But his head has loads of faces (needed for the lower part) which is making rounding it out problematic.

Any tips on how to apply curvature where I need it (or to reduce its faces without mucking it up)

Thank you.

Also if there is any documentation/web page on using the append face command more effectivly that would be awsome.

Hi simonkage.
You can use the UDT Rhino tools on T-Splines control points.

But that's not a lot of faces! You can tweak them manually. Using symmetry you would reduce the amount to half. That's how I would do it!
