How would you create this shape in T-Splines?

Postby lax26 » Sat Jun 18, 2016 11:56 am

I have a shape that was made in another 3d program and I would like to recreate the shape. Is this something that would be good to do in T-Splines? If so how would I do it? Thank you for any help.

Hi Daniel.
Well, you can do it in T-Splines, but I am not sure if it is necessary. You can do it in plain Rhino with the Loft surface tool.
I would probably extract several curve profiles on the shape and then loft it.

You could use tsPipe in T-Splines and then tweak the shape to make it match with the shape, but you would need a fair amount of tweaking.
