T-Splines v4 beta - phase 1

A support and feedback forum for Autodesk T-Splines Plug-in for Rhino users.

T-Splines v4 beta - phase 1

Postby Matt Sederberg » Wed Jul 10, 2013 11:10 am

I'm pleased to announce that the first phase of the T-Splines v4 beta for Rhino is now available for testing and feedback. This will be a two-staged beta.

Stage 1: Focus on Grasshopper integration improvements.

Stage 2: Focus on T-Splines modeling improvements.

We're currently on stage 1. Participation is open to any T-Splines user, especially if you use Grasshopper. To participate, click this link to get access to the T-Splines v4 beta portal on the Autodesk beta forums.

If you do not yet have an Autodesk account, you can create a free account after you click the link above, answer a couple of questions, and then you'll get access to the beta portal, where you can download the software, watch a video, and participate in forum discussions. You will be required to agree to an NDA to get access to the beta, so the conversations about the beta need to stay in the beta forums.

See you over there!

Best,
Matt

Hi there!

Just for interest: what's the timetable for T-splines 4 at the moment?
...for stage 2?
...for the final reliase?

What are the presumptions (for the timetable) at the moment?

Thank's for answering!

Hi Johnny,

We don't publish any kind of timetable. We are working on it, but the same team of developers is also working on a lot of T-splines-related projects right now. It's a busy time for us! Hopefully we will be able to provide some v4 news soon.

Thanks for your interest.

We don't post anything public. If I even posted something unofficial on the forum many would take it to be official. :D

However, generally we do post info as soon as we are able to share anything solid.

Yes, we rather quietly posted a beta update a few weeks ago, with our first version of improved creasing. Please check it out and let us know what you think!
