Correct typology of this model

Postby moryde » Sun May 27, 2012 3:33 am

Hi everyone.

I have really tried to work with this model, but I cant seem to find the right typology of the model. The picture shows the current models problems, but I guess the whole model could use an overhall.

Hope that someone can help either to remove the crease or get the typology of the model correct.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I thought I had already responded to this.

This is actually a pretty nice topology. I don't see a crease here, but I do see that tight ridge.

What I would do is select the tangency handles right at the ridge, then hit the Delete key. This will reset them to their default positions and it smooths out the area.

Does that answer your question?

Hi moryde,
Here is a model of the chair with the topology I would use.
Check it out, I think it's smoother.
Bye
