A little problem in Smooth mode

Postby bivvo » Tue Feb 07, 2012 9:10 pm

Hello all! It is my first post here! :D

I have a little problem when I try to extrude a smooth curve.
I get something like this:

Image

First I thought I was in box mode, but then I realized that it is not so

Since I am trying to learn both Rhino and T-Splines, I thought I unintentionally changed some Rhino settings

So I tried to extrude the same curve with the Rhino extrude command and this is the result:

I am using the trial version of both programs, I had not encountered this problem with T-Splines so far

What's wrong?

Greetings from Italy!

Hi Giuseppe,

Welcome to the forum!

It looks like this is probably a display mesh setting. We use our own display mesh settings, which is why your surface appears differently if it is a Rhino extrude or a T-Splines extrude.

You can change the display mesh settings in the tsOptions. I'd recommend going to medium or high (see attached).

Matt.
