trimmed surfaces

hi Matthew and Everyone,

I'm glad to join this forum discussion.

I guess it is rather a silly question, which the answer on it is obviuos, but i'm not sure, so i thought i will just ask in any case:
Will T-splines for Rhino support working on trimmed surfaces while leaving them trimmed in one of the future beta releases?

Gil,

Not a poor question at all. Short answer: yes, we will support trimmed surfaces. Long answer: I will comment on this more later today.

Just to add something to this.

I just started working with T-Splines with an existing finished Rhino model.

During the conversion to T-Splines it would seem surface trims are at the moment ignored and blended surfaces are out right deleted.

Just my two cents

Hi Ken,

The blended surfaces are degree 4 or more. Up to now only degree 3 surfaces are converted, you should rebuild them and try again.
