Split to several layers/materials

Postby brian748 » Thu Mar 02, 2017 3:53 am

Hi all
Is there a way to assign a different layer or material in order to simulate a continuous surface but with a different paint color?
This shouldn't be a destructive command so I can still use the tpoints to modify the surfaces.

For example the hood of a car white painted with some stripe or region painted black.

Hi Brian.
I dont think so.
What you can do is apply a texture map with the two colors. But you will need gto make the map, and it wont adjust after you edit the T-Splines surface.
