Registering TSplines on new laptop

Postby IanF » Wed Jul 25, 2012 4:15 pm

Hello,

I hope Matt or someone can help me here.

Recently purchased a new laptop for CAD work. RHINO, RhinoCAM, RhinoGold, V-Ray and TSplines.

I am having trouble registering the licences for TSplines on the new laptop, it wouldn't accept the key unfortunately the window with the details has been closed. Anyway from that window it went to another window which came up with method to do it online using a number it generated. That window is now closed and we can not make sense of how to sort the license out.

Tsplines is currently installed on the old laptop and I suspect that that needs to be deactivated before we should have tried to input the licences key.

It now seems to be running in the demo mode on the new one.

What is the procedure to deactivate and reactivate so we can get TSplines running on the new laptop?

Appreciate any assistance.

Regards,

Ian

To deactivate: Run tsInfo and then click the "Deactivate License" button.

To activate: Run tsActivateLicense and enter your key. The alternate method is found by clicking the "Help Me" button on the window you get after running tsActivateLicense.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

When I try and send the "Deactivation License" it continually comes back with ""Error contacting deactivation server".....Please try again later or contact tsplines.help@autodesk.com for assistance"

The old lappy is online and I have checked that the firewall is not blocking by temporarily turning it off.

All I get is the message above.....is it possible your server is down?

Regards,

Ian

Hey. I also I have problems after installing a new operating system.
I need to re-activate my license id used for activation and license, Internet activation code . I replaced my OS of 32 per Win7P WinXp 64-bit.
I have successfully installed the Rhino and I downloaded curret version tsplines but can not get the proper functioning of T-splines. There is a problem?.
Thanks
