About the free learning edition The T-Splines Maya Plugin Learning Edition is a free limited-use plugin that allows you to evaluate the new T-Splines Maya Plugin without risk or obligation. Learning edition licenses never expire, and are always updated simultaneously with new versions of the commercial edition. At any time you may purchase a license that will unlock your learning edition and give it full functionality.

Features
The free learning edition gives you access to the nearly all of the features in the T-Splines Maya plugin. The only features disabled are exporting your T-Spline mesh to a NURBS or a polymesh, and rendering. Any NURBS, polygonal, or T-Spline object can be loaded and edited in the T-Spline Learning Edition Plugin. Files can be saved in the learning edition in a special file format, readable by the learning edition but not by the commercial version of the T-Splines Maya Plugin.

Requirements
The T-Splines Maya Plugin Learning Edition runs on Maya 8, 7, 6,5, and 6 for Macintosh, Windows, and Linux. It also runs on Maya 5 for Windows. Unfortunately, despite the name similarity, the T-Splines Learning Edition will not run on Maya's Personal Learning Edition (PLE). Maya's PLE does not interface with any plugins, including T-Splines.
