Mark Biasotti at SolidWorks has put together some detailed videos showing how to use T-Splines for Rhino, tsElements for SolidWorks, and SolidWorks together.
This video shows how to model a faucet in T-Splines for Rhino, then add mechanical details, shelling, etc. in SolidWorks. I like it because the T-Splines portion is very straightforward, largely consisting of just pushing and pulling the surface.
Here’s one showing how to model a joystick. The highly curved area is done in T-Splines for Rhino, then the planar faces are added in SW. Mark shows how the imported T-spline can be edited even after the rest of the features have been added.
