Scan&Solve™ for Rhino is a new plugin (currently free!) that lets you perform simple analysis on your models while still in Rhino.
The video below shows how to use Scan&Solve to perform a simple stress test on a T-spline surface that was converted to NURBS.
On a personal note, I met the head researcher behind Scan&Solve, Vadim Shapiro, at COFES this year. Turns out that he had known my dad from years ago. I talked with him at length about our experience writing a Rhino plugin, so I’m glad he went ahead and did it!
