Dr. T-Splines, a.k.a. Dr. Tom Sederberg, was recently awarded the top faculty honor at Brigham Young University, for among other things, his groundbreaking work in computer graphics. Besides inventing T-Splines, Dr. Sederberg has made substantial contributions to freeform deformation (think Cage Edit and UDT in Rhino) and morphing.
