Come visit us at SIGGRAPH, the world’s largest computer graphics conference. We’ll be in booth 2028.
Location: New Orleans, LA
Date: August 4-6, 2009
Great. I wish I could attend. So, when are you folks (Developers of T-Splines) going to enter into a positive business relationship with autodessys Inc of Columbus, Ohio, the developers of formZ RenderZone Plus? I can’t wait to see T-Spine technology integrated into fomZ! I hope your booth @ Siggraph does get a lot of foot traffic.
I assume you’re a FormZ user? Thanks for the inquiry. FormZ is on our list of applications that would potentially be a nice fit for T-Splines; I’m sure we’ll catch up with those guys at SIGGRAPH.
Yes, I am long time formZ user. ADS has publicly stated that formZ as all-purpose 3D Solid / Surface Modeler can not grow so much more because the coding has become too large. Consequently, they plan on hopefully soon releasing two industry specific module. One for Architecture with BIM features and that will be the first. Then a specific module for Industrial and Product Design and ADS has stated (on their forum), T-Spline technology and that statement peaked my interest as I have seen demos of T-Spine implementation in Maya. Personally, I can not wait to get my hands on this powerful surfacing technology and I know I am not the only formZ user who feels this way.
